Recently, I had a new prospect for my Global Resorts business speak to me about what it would take to have success in GRN. The conversation began with the tales of past network marketing experiences. Experiences that I too, was familiar with. After I understood some of the details I asked this one question... What are you willing to do to be successful in GRN? There was a long pause. It seemed that this particular prospect liked the huge commission that Global offered. He loved the great vacations that he could take with his family at huge savings. But he really wasn't interested in working at it.

And therein lies the problem.... Many online and network marketers see the great success that some people are having in the industry. It looks great,and they want some of that for themselves. But what they don't seem to realize... I mean, really realize, is that it takes work, effort, money, persistence.... in order to truly reach high goals.

Most people will never do what it takes to have success in the online marketing and network marketing industry. It's not because the business models are bad...they're not...In fact, they are exceptional, if one follows the rules. What are those rules and what do you need to do to get in on the predictable success?

First and foremost, you MUST be involved in a company that has a product or service that has intrinsic value to the consumer. If you purchased a MacDonalds franchise you might pay upwards of $250,000 just for the franchise. Not counting land, building, supplies, employees, marketing, etc.. Perserverence is Key To Success

So many times I run across people who are trying to make it in the online industry. Unfortunately, the percentage of people who make it in this industry is quite low. I feel the main reason is that people tend to sabatoge themselves. You may ask how so.... In reality it is quite simple. At first sign of difficulty or lack of income they quit. I don't understand why. Most traditional businesses take quite some time to get to the break even point, so why would the online industry be any different.

Fortunately, I have had great mentors in my life who have taught me this valuable lessons. I, in turn, pass on this information and more importantly, my ongoing support to my team members.

I look at someone's direct sponsor as that person's mentor. I expect a mentor to give the new business partner a plan of action, and then not only help the implementation but be there as a "cheerleader" so to speak. Sometimes people simply need somone to say "good job" in order to continue.

The product should have good value and offer that entrepreneur information that will help that person's progress on the road to success. As time goes on, and that person receives follow up emails from you, other offers can be made as well.

Perhaps the next offer builds on your original product to continue the education and growth process. Each time this entrepreneur purchases from you, a trust begins to form. They know that you offer things of value which will help them become more likely to seriously consider future offers.

A network marketing opportunity that focuses on an exceptional product in a large and growing niche would then make sense at that time. The strategy here would be something that would generate residual income so the new network marketer is getting checks month after month.
Along the way, this marketer will learn through you, how to brand himself. Buying leads is not a great way to build your online business. By branding yourself you will have many leads coming to you rather than the other way around.

Lastly, as this relationship grows, a bigger ticket network marketing business can be offered. One in which big time money can be made. The better your relationship, the more likely the marketer will join you in bigger and bigger ventures.

Dad, had his surgery, and while recovering slowly, is on the correct path. Thanks for your prayers. Here is a copy of an email I had sent.... You might find this interesting.
