In these economic times people are a bit more investigative about opportunities, especially those that are considered bigger ticket items. And, since you don't have a relationship with them, they simply don't trust you enough to take the plunge.
Instead, why not introduce yourself to others with lower ticket items, perhaps a one time fee type of product. The product should have good value and offer that entrepreneur information that will help that person's progress on the road to success. As time goes on, and that person receives follow up emails from you, other offers can be made as well.
Perhaps the next offer builds on your original product to continue the education and growth process. Each time this entrepreneur purchases from you, a trust begins to form. They know that you offer things of value which will help them become more likely to seriously consider future offers.
A network marketing opportunity that focuses on an exceptional product in a large and growing niche would then make sense at that time. The strategy here would be something that would generate residual income so the new network marketer is getting checks month after month.
Along the way, this marketer will learn through you, how to brand himself. Buying leads is not a great way to build your online business. By branding yourself you will have many leads coming to you rather than the other way around.
Lastly, as this relationship grows, a bigger ticket network marketing business can be offered. One in which big time money can be made. The better your relationship, the more likely the marketer will join you in bigger and bigger ventures.
