Myspace is up and running

Well, it took me more time than I thought. Never worked with HTML codes before. It's not hard, just different. My myspace page is finally up and running. Of course, I am sure I will tweak it a bit as time goes on, but at least I am ready to get my message out there. Don't Stop Learning

In my last entry I talked about newsletter marketing. I will continue to review network marketing newsletters to determine which ones I will advertise in to continually drive more and more traffic to sites of interest. Recently one of my business partners recommended that I take a good look at creating a MySpace page as yet another traffic generation method. As we speak I am working on that page and its content. Newsletter marketing

A quick update...interest in the new Lightyear marketing system is growing day by day. To think that a network marketing company would actually give an income guarantee is unheard of in the industry. Just another reason why Lightyear is light years ahead of most companies. (Pun intended!)

My funded proposal is going very well. I am bringing traffic to it by use of Adwords Pay Per Click advertising and well as ezine articles. To date I have written close to 60 articles and have been very impressed with the number of prospects those articles have attracted. The Pay per Click ads are producing as well. I rotate them in and out depending on the number of leads and their interest level. I owe all this training to the Power Prospecting System. Their training is incredible.

The next thing I am instituting in newsletter marketing. I am very excited about its potential after attending a training session recently. I will let you know how it progresses. So, until next time....

Funded Proposals -What are the Key Ingredients That Give YOU the Edge for Massive Success!

Funded Proposals. An interesting term. But what does it really mean? In its simplest form, it is a self perpetuating marketing system. For example...let's say you want to sell a product or service. If you could set up a system whereby your marketing budget is paid for by the sale of additional products that you offer, can you see that this would allow you to continue the marketing process for as long as you choose?

While that may sound a bit confusing, it is really a simple system. And, it is a perfect plan that can be easily duplicated for those in the network marketing arena. While organizations can be built using old school mlm approaches, in order to grow your business to massive levels in today's world necessitates the use of additional techniques. The internet, for one, must be utililized. Since most people are on the internet in one form or another, accessing the incredible potential of the internet will give you the edge you need to reach the goals you desire. However, this must be done properly and efficiently to have the best effect.

Here are the key ingredients... Lead capture page, direct sales page, compelling informational products that network marketers will find valuable, a detailed tracking system(Critically important), autoresponders that are branded to you, and lastly, consistent training on how to pull it all together.

Let's briefly talk about each of these ingredients.
LEAD CAPTURE PAGE: It amazes me to see an attractive ad that inspires me to click on a link which then leads me straight to a direct sales page. This may sound good to you, but it is poor at best. In order to follow up with prospective customers and business associates you must gather their contact information first. A person may not have instantaneous interest at first glance or may purchase a product and not realize that you offer other products as well. Without contact information you have lost the opportunity to maximize your relationship with that particular prospect.

DIRECT SALES PAGE: This page must be able to hold a prospect's attention. It must be written in a way that not only promotes your products but educates why your products are critically important for that prospect's business success. It must not be overstated, but must give convincing data to inspire the prospect to take action. The best Direct Sales Pages have multiple products to offer allowing for increased profitability.

COMPELLING PRODUCTS: Think about what YOU would want in a product. What would stimulate your interest? What information would you purchase in order to take your business the the next level and beyond? The product must also be favorably priced so that the prospect can feel comfortable taking action.

TRACKING SYSTEM: This is extremely critical. If you are going to advertise don't you want to know precisely where your customers or prospects are coming from? Of course you do. The best systems not only have a detailed tracking system but give you a feel for what the prospect is interested in. Let's say your direct sales page has 7 pages of information and offers. Do you think it would be valuable to know that Joe Smith clicked through to page 2, whereas Mary Jones clicked through to page 7? Absolutely. This helps you get a feel for the prospects interest level as well as helping you determine how and IF you want to follow up with the prospect.

AUTORESPONDERS: There are massive differences in autoresponders. Simply put, when a contact enters information, the autoresponder will send emails to the prospect on a frequency that you choose. The best systems have emails that are pre written and are branded to you. The emails CANNOT be generic as with many autoresponders. If you want to build a relationship with your prospect you must give them the opportunity to find out what you are all about as well as giving them sequential information that slowly but systematically educates them about your products and services.

TRAINING: If you search the internet you will find many autoresponders, tracking systems and products for sale. You will find lead capture pages and direct sale pages as well. However, unless you are trained on how to bring all these concepts together, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, how to drive traffic to this system, the system will not maximize your success.

Never Lose Another MLM Prospect to Fear, Yours or Theirs!

Have you ever had the experience of a hot prospect challenging you on the validity of network marketing? I know I have. I always had the answers because I was prepared. And before that, I always had a casette tape and now, a CD that would give even a better answer. Even with these tools didn't you feel uneasy. After all, why should you have to defend your business. It never made sense to me.

I had many discussions with those who were more experienced in an attempt to gain new incite on this issue. Most of the time the finger pointed back to me. I was giving off the wrong unspoken message by my body language was one reason. Or, I was approaching people who were "lower" than me on the economic scale because I was more comfortable in that situation. I was told I had to recruit up. I had to go out of my comfort zone and approach people who were "higher" than me in order to get the real business builders. I remember a young, 21 year old business partner asking me how was he to approach successful business men twice his age and convince them that what he had was better than what they were doing.

Think about that for a moment. Quite a daunting task don't you think? And one that is just oozing with failure. Right from the start the attitude is one of "this is not going to happen". So how can this person succeed. The answer is, probably not very easily.

So, how should we deal with this problem. As I see it, we all have two choices. We can continue to search for books, tapes, and other tools that will explain why network marketing is so good, etc, etc, OR we can change our marketing approach so that people who already like and want network marketing can come to us. WOW! Would that be a nice change of pace? You bet it is. And it is working just fine for those who are willing to try different techniques. For me, these new techniques opened doors that were previously not only shut, but locked tight.
