Now That You Have Been Approached To join An MLM, What Now?

The scenario is pretty standard. A friend of yours calls you and asks you if you have an interest in taking a look at a business he finds very exciting. Maybe he even asks you if you are satisfied with your current income level. If you're like most people, the answer is always the same. Of course you can use extra money. So your interest becomes piqued and you agree to meet with him.

As the meeting approaches you are filled with excitement. You wonder what type of business he will be discussing and what it will mean to your future. Part of you is hoping that it is NOT a multi level marketing business. You have never been involved in one before but you have heard all sorts of stories. Some of which were downright horrible.

Well, the time of the meeting has come. You and your friend sit down and participate in a bunch of small talk. to break the ice and renew your acquaintance. Once the business presentation starts you become more and more convinced that this new business idea has potential. It seems that the products are good. You can make a sizeable amount of money if you just stay the course. Your friend promises you that he will be there to help you. Your mind starts racing thinking of the possibilities that this business represents. And then it happens...

You make the decision to join. The application is filled out, the fees paid and you are on your way...well almost. Now you have to decide on a strategy to attract people to your business. Your friend decides to give you a brief training session right on the spot. He asked you to go over names of people that you know, people that would trust you. This is commonly called your warm market. It's at this point that you start feeling a little bit nervous. You mean I have to start calling my friends? I don't know if I can do that. What are my friends going to think about me?
Does this sound familiar to you? It does to me! This is the most common issue that every new network marketer has to address and deal with effectively in order to go to the next step in his journey towards success. However, there is a way around this. Many veteran network marketers understand that most warm market prospects are not necessarily your best business partners. In fact, I will go as far as to say that if you work in the network marketing industry long enough, the majority of your prospects will not be those people in your warm market. That means that your close friends, coworkers, and family members will most likely not be in your business. That's okay. Because there is a different strategy that will work.. Here's how...

21st-century network marketing requires a different approach. The vastness of the Internet allows us to expand our horizons in order to attract prospects from literally all over the world. But how can you attract those people? What system needs to be used? One way of doing this would be to purchase leads from a lead generation company. However, how do you know that these leads are of good quality? The answer... you don't. If there was a way to generate your own high quality leads, would it make sense to pursue that avenue instead? From my experience it is the best way to give you the best chance at success. Why not start your network marketing experience on a positive note with no rejection?
